Micron reported $23.86 billion in revenue, a new record and an increase of around 196% compared to the same period last year ($8.05 billion). The company posted $13.8 billion in net income, also a record high, representing an increase of approximately 768% year-over-year (from $1.59 billion).

Q1 FORECAST: The company expects approximately $33.5 billion in revenue, up from $9.3 billion a year ago, implying growth of over 200%. Analysts had previously expected $24.3 billion.

MARKET POSITION: MICRON IS THE ONLY MAJOR U.S. MEMORY PRODUCER. Micron is one of only three large-scale memory manufacturers globally and the only major U.S.-based producer of DRAM and memory hardware, alongside South Korea’s Samsung and SK Hynix, highlighting its unique strategic position in the global semiconductor supply chain.

• BREAKING (JANUARY 16): MICRON STARTED BUILDING THE LARGEST SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN U.S. HISTORY ON JANUARY 16. Micron Technology announced that on January 16, 2026, it will officially break ground on its megafab in Onondaga County, New York.
